The Riverside/San Bernardino Chapter is happy to announce our partnership with Mobility 21. Mobility 21 is a coalition that brings together public, business and community stakeholders to pursue regional solutions to the transportation challenges facing Imperial, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura Counties. A nonpartisan alliance, Mobility 21 delivers a unified voice for the region’s transportation priorities and seeks to improve mobility in the region.
The Riverside/San Bernardino Chapter participates in our own local scholarship award program, as well as the ACEC state scholarship program. The fundraising for the local scholarship is through proceeds on the Chapter Golf Tournament. The chapter is also happy to provide a raffle prize to benefit the state scholarship program.
The ACEC Riverside/San Bernardino Chapter is proud to be a member of the Caltrans District 8 Professional Liaison Committee. The committees objective is to provide a link between Caltrans, SANBAG, RCTC, Local Agencies, and the private consulting community. Monthly meetings are held at the District 8 Headquarters in San Bernardino.
The Riverside/San Bernardino Chapter has partnered with Inland Action, "A non-profit, non-partisan corporation of public spirited leaders who have joined together to be catalysts for the economic well being of the Inland Empire region of California." We look forward to working with Inland Action on several issues, including the construction of Express Lanes on Interstate 10 and Interstate 15 through San Bernardino County.
